Rob began his work in the entertainment industry after graduating from The Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting in 2007. Immediately afterward, he began working in two major Los Angeles radio stations doing promotions, social media content, commercial voiceover, and audio production including imaging and branding. That exposure led him into working as a producer for live events, a production director for a US tour, a content director for small businesses, a project manager, a videographer and director, an actor in cable tv and independent films, a music artist, and a live event host. He has also worked in the Las Vegas radio market doing promotions and commercial voiceover. Locally, he is represented by a commercial acting agency and a voiceover agency. He also has a network in Las Vegas nightlife from working at world renown nightclubs and within the casino hotel industry.
Born & raised in Los Angeles, Robert A. Macias was greatly influenced by the wide variety of cultures surrounding him. This propelled him to venture into the music scene as a passionate lyricist and recording artist, spanning many genres including hip hop and R&B. Having a great respect for the entertainment industry and a drive to get his foot in the door, Rob began working at a local radio station where he took the opportunity to develop his acting skills as a voice over talent. Hungry for more, Rob decided to branch out as an actor through TV and film related work. Whether through a microphone or in front of the camera, Rob is an original who can capture the energy needed to be one of a kind.
